The Royal Air Force Museum has adopted contactless technology from GoodBox to boost its fundraising efforts to help combat restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. GoodBox is the world’s first fintech ‘one-stop shop’ for charitable giving, helping charities thrive in a digital world through contactless and digital fundraising technology.
With the public increasingly favouring contactless payments rather than cash, a trend which has been amplified by the pandemic, charities are feeling the pinch now more than ever. However, although many channels of the museums fundraising saw a decline due to the impact of COVID-19, visitors have been more than willing to show their support with individual giving increasing by over 150% after reopening.
