Second MIPIM PropTech Europe to See 120 Mature Players Meet Myriad Startups

MIPIM PropTech Europe is poised for a vibrant second edition, with a strong line-up of international tech companies due to attend.

Organised by Reed MIDEM, a subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions, MIPIM PropTech Europe is the leading event in its field, and takes place in Paris on 1 and 2 July at the CENTQUATRE exhibition hall. It will bring together decision-makers from the property sector with technology companies proposing innovations with an impact on buildings, the urban environment, mobility, and living space generally.

Around 120 mature tech companies as well as startups will attend MIPIM PropTech Europe, covering the entire property value chain, from design through construction and the wider urban environment, including optimised transactions, financing, and user experience. MIPIM PropTech Europe also confirms its global position with major international pavilions such as Hub Brussels, showcasing nine Belgian startups; the UK PropTech Association, hosting five British startups; and Icex, bringing seven startups from Spain. Other countries are also well represented such as Germany with Bots4you, Roomhero and Hum Systems; the Netherlands with Mapiq and Hello Energy and the Czech Republic with Spaceti and Spaceflow.The United States has an exceptional presence with speakers from leading companies in the sector including Google, Microsoft, Fifth Wall, WeWork, VTS, and Matterport.

And France is very well represented with several major incubators, including Paris & Cowhich is showcasing 11 startups; Impulse Partners, that will be presenting nine startups; S’Lab, the incubator of Paris La Défense; and the association French PropTech, which will attend with around 25 startups showcasing their activities in a very innovative and visual way.

These innovators will join the mature tech exhibitors participating in the event such as Leica Geosystems, a provider of airborne, mobile mapping and asset management solutions (Switzerland); mobility solutions specialist Schindler Digital Group (Switzerland); Accruent (Netherlands), which helps organisations optimise planning and management of resources; and leading software provider for the financial sector, Efront (France).

Finally, MIPIM PropTech Europe will also host two startup competitions which illustrate the vitality of the sector, with the first stage of the MIPIM Startup Competition 2020 scheduled for 1 July, and the inaugural Proptech StartUp Europe Awards on 2 July.
