Smart launches personalised pension animations for savers 

animated pensionFintech Smart has launched pension animations for its retirement savers. The personalised animations provide an overview of a pension in a simple, digestible and more accessible way.

The animation also takes customers on a journey through how much they have saved for their retirement, showing how much their savings have grown and where their money is invested.

The launch follows a Beta trial with 8,000 members in the UK. The animated pension journey is available to all customers in Smart’s UK business, Smart Pension. The feature will also be available to Keystone platform customers in other countries around the world.

Tappy Pay is now available in Europe and UK with Curve

TappyPayTappy Technologies, a wearable and digital payments solution provider, has partnered with digital wallet Curve.

Watch and jewellery brand partners can now offer Tappy-enabled payment wearables to Curve’s customers in 31 countries across the EU and UK.

Wayne Leung, CEO and founder of Tappy, said: “This collaboration is poised to provide significant benefits to our partner brands, empowering them to extend their payment wearable offerings to a vast customer base throughout the region.”

A user needs to download the Curve app, link their digital wallet to existing bank accounts, debit or credit cards and tokenise and provision it into the wearable through Tappy Pay.

Gamers Without Borders offers $10 million prize

Gamers Without Borders (GWB), a global charitable esports event, kicks off its fourth edition with a $10million charity prize pool.

GWB’s 2023 edition sees humanitarian aid partners Direct Relief, IMC, UNICEF, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, World Food Programme (WFP) as well as UNHCR, direct the funds to address a variety of urgent humanitarian needs.

It features five elite competitions across four of the world’s most popular esports titles.

As well as the donations through the elite competitions, GWB also offers the chance for everyone to donate  through www.gamerswithoutborders.com.

Paymentshield bolsters home insurance quote service

General insurance provider Paymentshield has launched its new optimised home insurance quote journey, which enables financial advisers to deliver a face-to-face quote to their customers in just 40 seconds.

Paymentshield has reduced the number of questions required to generate a quote by pulling in property data from data provider LexisNexis, which will automatically populate certain questions.

Louise Pengelly, proposition director at Paymentshield, says: “Striking the right balance to ensure both our adviser and customer audiences receive the best possible experience has been a core priority for Paymentshield throughout the development of our new home insurance quote journey.”

Paymentshield has also built the new quote journey into its API offering, so that integrated partners can deliver the same optimised experience within their platforms.The remodelled journey was trialled with over 4000 advisers before its full roll-out.

Papa JohnsPizza brand Papa Johns has entered OneRare’s Foodverse to launch its first-ever digital collectibles.

Three of its best-selling pizzas will launch as NFTs exclusively in OneRare Kitchen available for every food enthusiast to mint and own.

Salmon launches service app 

Consumer fintech Salmon has released it service app in the Philippines. You can download it from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Salmon supports payments made through GCash and Maya e-wallets, as well as 7-Eleven and Cebuana Lhuillier branches nationwide.

Shoppers at all Salmon’s partner merchants, including SM Department Store, the largest retailer in the Philippines, may now pay for their purchases in several instalments using Salmon’s financing service.

Mastercard unveils partnership with Illusions Online 

Mastercard and Illusions Online have partnered to launch a unique online platform to bring tailored travel offers to Mastercard cardholders.

It features curated and exclusive offers from the best hotel chains around the world while also offering discounts of up to 30 per cent.

The offer will also include bespoke travel experiences, such as early check-in, late checkout, room and status upgrades, and F&B credits.

The new travel platform will enable Mastercard Titanium, Platinum, World, and World Elite cardholders to experience the benefits of the Illusions partnership.
