Embedded finance integrator AAZZUR and the alternative asset manager Channel Capital have come together to secure embedded lending products for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The newfound partnership will see the integrator applying its front-end expertise to the formation of Channel’s lending interfaces.
Channel sits on a history of significant investment in developing proprietary embedded lending systems using APIs, open banking and cloud-based technologies to provide SME financing.
In turn, the asset manager will provide capital for AAZZUR’s embedded lending products for SMEs via its digital lending offering.
This will allow AAZZUR to increase its own offering for B2B clients with SME customers, providing them with a frictionless funding experience.

Philipp Buschmann, CEO of AAZZUR, divulges his personal interest in the activities of the company’s new partner, stating “I’ve been closely following Channel’s investments into the embedded lending space for a while now.”
Buschmann goes on to confirm his certainty that the partnership is going to be “immensely mutually beneficial to both businesses.”
The Berlin-based company’s modular smart banking platform enables companies to create mobile banking apps from the ground up, while they can also opt to enhance their existing offering with the platform.
Its embeddable smart finance blocks allow the company’s clients to tap into embedded wealth management services, budgeting tools, insurance and carbon offset programmes.
The announcement is one of a raft of recent partnerships sealed by AAZZUR, with other new partners including Railsbank and additiv.
Channel’s CEO, Walter Gontarek, shared his company’s delight in its latest partnership with AAZZUR.
“Our combined expertise and shared desire to break down existing barriers to business means we’re well placed to make a real difference to small business while providing compelling investment opportunities for our clients,” he added.
