The Diverse Lineup of Fintech Tour 2021 Has Been Announced

Fintech Saudi, an initiative launched by the Saudi Central Bank and the Capital Market Authority to support the growth of the fintech industry in Saudi Arabia, has launched the fourth Fintech Tour 21; which is scheduled to be held from Sunday 28 November to Thursday 9 December 2021.

Fintech Tour is the region’s largest cluster of virtual fintech events. Fintech Tour 21 will be opened with a welcome note from H.E. Fahad Almubarak, the Governor of the Saudi Central Bank and fireside chats with H.E. Mohammed Alkuwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority, and H.E. Eng. Haytham AlOhali, Vice Minister, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology.

Fintech Tour 21 takes place over 10 days and consists of virtual lectures, discussions and fireside chats in Arabic and English from local and international experts on fintech-related topics. All sessions are open to everyone and are free to attend.

Highlights of Fintech Tour 21 includes:

  • Sessions on fintech trends – including payments, regtech, insurtech and digital banking.
  • Session on technology trends – including artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain.
  • Saudi deep dives – including open banking, customer adoption and fintech regulations.

The lineup of over 60 speakers includes regional and global fintech industry leaders, academics and published authors from 7 countries, including fireside chats with H.E. Dr. Nabeel Koshak, CEO and Board Member, Saudi Venture Capital Company; Eng. Yousef Alhargan, CEO, National Centre for Government Resources Sys; Mohammed AlMalki, Vice Governor of Funding, Monshaat Acting CEO, SMEs Bank; Abdulaziz AlAfaleg, Managing Director, Saudi Payments and Ahmed Alenazi, CEO, stc pay; Nejoud Almulaik, Director, Fintech Saudi.

“Fintech Tour has established itself as a leading platform in the region that brings together local and international fintech experts to share their knowledge and give everyone the opportunity to expand their understanding about fintech,” comments Nejoud Almulaik, Director of Fintech Saudi.
