Smart Assistant ‘Matti’ Launched by KBC Bank for Portfolio Management

Objectway, a leader in the Digital Wealth & Asset Management software, and KBC Bank have announced the market launch of the new roboadvisory service, Matti from Bolero, supported by components of the Objectway WealthTech Suite.

Objectway provided portfolio management, rebalancing and proposal generation capabilities in an ‘as-an-engine’ model towards Matti, the smart investment assistant of Bolero, KBC’s online retail broker.

KBC Bank is a premiere Belgian-based bank with more than 3.5 million clients and 518 bank branches across the country. By implementing this project, KBC is confident that the new offering will attract existing and new clients and sees it as a further step in the area of the digitally assisted investment. KBC aims to potentiate and complement the existing execution-only Bolero platform, broadening its reach through roboadvisory services.

Bolero is the online investment platform of KBC Bank and one of the leading players of Belgium’s online brokerage market. Since 2015, Bolero has been elected best online broker by the visitors of bankshopper.be, year after year. Since 1999, Bolero offers a sharp-cost solution for private investors who want to manage their investments themselves online. Matti is Bolero’s new, smart investment assistant.
