Welcome to Fintech Fridays! The Fintech Times weekly roundup serves up something for the weekend – a shopping list of the latest deals, product launches and service updates.

eToro unveils charting upgrade

etoroTrading and investing platform eToro has upgraded its charting functionality in partnership with TradingView.

eToro now provides users with charts coupled with an intuitive user interface including an accessible sidebar. There will also be mobile-friendly charts optimised for touch screen devices.

It now offers extended Fibonacci, Gann, and Elliot analysis tools, including 100-plus indicators for the most popular trading strategies, more than 50 drawing tools to plan trades and the option to see asset prices within the last week, day,  four hours, one hour, 30 minutes, five minutes and one minute.

Gili Wolff, senior director of product management at eToro, said: “Through our partnership with TradingView, users will gain access to the very best charting tools, allowing them to make better informed trading and investing decisions. Initial user feedback is very positive and we are excited to further deliver on our charting roadmap.”

Idealz and Instant Cash offers cash giveaway 

Idealz and Instant Cash Offers Cash Giveaway Idealz, a ‘shop and win’ online platform, has partnered with global money transfer operator Instant Cash FZE,  to offer customers the chance to scoop an AED500,000 cash reward.

Any customer using Instant Cash, from participating agent partner locations around Dubai, to remit money to any of over 50 countries automatically secure a chance to win.

The winner will be announced during a live event on the second day of Eid.

LawBite and Cashplus Bank share legal advice

Digital legal service platform LawBite has teamed up with fintech Cashplus to offer the digital bank’s small business customers access to a suite of legal services and guidance.

Cashplus’ customers can access legal advice on all aspects of running and operating a company. This partnership will also provide access to a team of business law specialists, on hand to provide customised legal advice to help owners solve business problems.

This will include advice on employment contracts, commercial agreements and corporate governance – all available in a cost-effective and transparent way.

HK’s ZA Bank launches AI artwork contest

NFT HKHong Kong digital bank ZA Bank has launched an NFT Maker campaign. Participants can create unique pieces of art with AI technology and mint them into tradable NFTs,

From now until 18 April, customers can answer three questions in the campaign page of NFT Maker via ZA Bank App. Based on their answers, the AI system will generate a background picture in a particular art style, along with signature Hong Kong elements such as the Star Ferry, the Peak Tram and double-decker buses.

During the campaign, users can create up to five artworks, and turn one of them into an NFT on the blockchain Polygon. Others can vote for their favourite.

The top three winners will each get two free 1-year M+ museum memberships, as well as 300,000 ZA Coins (HKD3,000). Plus, a T-shirt printed with their winning masterpiece.

Neo introduces native encrypted messaging platform

Neo, the open-source, community-driven blockchain platform, has launched a native encrypted messaging platform, NeoChat.

The integrated chat application provides the Neo community with a secure way to communicate, using their wallet addresses as ID.

NeoChat is available on the PC as well as through the NeoLine Chrome extension and on mobile via the OneGate app. In addition, NeoChat launches with ChatGPT fully integrated into the app, allowing users to interact with the AI chatbot directly through the platform.

Steven Liu, head of development at Neo said: “Previously, users had to utilise any number of third-party messaging tools to communicate. However, in line with the community nature of Neo, users can now chat securely through our integrated NeoChat platform, whether collaborating on new development projects or buying and selling on a Neo marketplace.”

Neo is also working with several ecosystem projects across its community to integrate NeoChat as a feature in a variety of dApps.

Klarna brings personalised shopping to ChatGPT

KlarnaKlarna has collaborated with OpenAI to bring a personalised and intuitive shopping experience to ChatGPT.

Consumers can install a Klarna plugin from ChatGPTs plugin store. Once installed, they can ask ChatGPT for shopping ideas to get a curated selection of items relevant to their request. ChatGPT automatically chooses when to use the plugin based on the conversation.

By tapping on the product link, shoppers navigate to a product page on Klarna’s search and compare tool to compare prices across different brands.
