Women in Fintech – Leaders in Fintech (That Happen to be Women)

The webinar will showcase our “women in fintech” focus, The Fintech Times is celebrating the role of women in fintech. Through profile pieces, interviews and tackling the hard conversations, we examine just why there is such a low proportion of women in prominent fintech positions and look forward to highlighting successful examples of women in power.

While the number of C-Suite women execs in fintech is lower than in other industries, one idea we want to tackle is that women are often drawn to the sector from other areas. Here we want to shine a light on the partnerships, problem-solving skills and professionalism that have brought these women into the industry, and suggest answers as to how we can work towards a fintech future where women – both as entrepreneurs, technologists and board members, will be more in focus.
