CloserStill Media, the organiser of Cloud Expo Asia, Hong Kong and its co-locating events – is the latest organiser to bring its event online. Originally planned to proceed on 23-24 September 2020 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), the leading B2B tech exhibition and conference will now go virtual on the same dates.
“The safety of our community is a top priority for us. Due to a recent rise of COVID-19 cases within the city, we believe moving the events online is the most responsible course of action at this point of time.” said Ms Candice Wong, Event Director at CloserStill Media.
She added, “Going virtual has opened up all new possibilities that just wouldn’t have been possible in traditional trade exhibition. It also allows us a more robust and dynamic conference programme.”
In this unique online congregation of technology expertise across the two days, attendees will get to source from over 50 global tech service suppliers, and learn from over 160 top-notch industry leaders across 10 conference tracks boasting expertise in varying fields such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data, DevOps, fintech, data centres, and e-commerce.
What was once an event that can only be attended physically in Hong Kong, is now available online to all tech professionals across the APAC region, and the virtual platform will continue to be accessible for 3 weeks after the live event dates on 23rd – 24th September.
Leading tech corporations who will be exhibiting include Alibaba Cloud, China Mobile International, CISCO, Commscope, Dell Technologies, GitLab, Huawei, Microsoft and UDomain. Together with the other industry players, exhibitors will be showcasing new and improved solutions and products.
