Currencycloud Partners with BriskPe to Empower India’s MSMEs

Currencycloud has teamed up with BriskPe, the Mumbai-based cross-border payments fintech, to expand BriskPe’s customers’ payment options.

The collaboration between Currencycloud and BriskPe unlocks new horizons for Indian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), providing them with a wide array of cross-border payment solutions and access to over 35 currencies at competitive exchange rates.

By integrating Currencycloud‘s APIs, BriskPe gains the capability to utilise local account-based collections in strategic markets such as the UK, EU, Canada, and the US. This streamlines the entire process of collecting, converting, and making payments.

Furthermore, the enhanced collection service featuring named virtual accounts offers a substantial advantage to India’s MSMEs by simplifying global collections through a variety of payment methods.

With the added benefit of an automated, swift, and error-free reconciliation process, along with the ability to receive international earnings directly into their Indian bank accounts within a single business day, companies can not only access their funds promptly but also concentrate on realising their growth aspirations.

“Our collaboration with Currencycloud aligns perfectly with our mission to eliminate the complexities associated with international collections for MSMEs by simplifying international payments,” said Sanjay Tripathy, co-founder and CEO BriskPe. “What’s more, Currencycloud’s enhanced scalability allows us to deliver value to our clients without compromising on service quality.”

Rohit Narang, managing director of APAC, at Currencycloud, also commented: “We are delighted to work with BriskPe and help facilitate its expansion in the international cross-border payment landscape. We look forward to working with them as they continue to enable India’s often under-represented businesses to thrive on the global stage.”
