April at The Fintech Times: Diversity and Inclusion

The necessity of diversity and inclusion within fintech has become a core element of the industry and is just as integral to the success of its leading players as any other form of innovation. In recognition of its increasing status in the recipe for success, this month, The Fintech Times will pioneer the topic through a month-long investigation into how equality is really being delivered. 

The Fintech Times is dedicating the month of April to showcase the fintech industry’s brightest and boldest initiatives aimed at championing equality, diversity and inclusion for all.

Our coverage of this fascinating and important topic will extend to all its darkest corners, shining a light on best practices and leading initiatives to the most dynamic calls for change through the voices of those putting their best foot forward.

The first week’s coverage will delve into fintech’s personal success stories, including key examples of how diversity and inclusion can be implemented alongside leading advice for those intending to follow in the same footsteps.

Week two is a space dedicated to knowledge sharing, uncovering why it’s so important, how it can be done and to what end collaboration in this way is responsible, if not integral, to the notion of diversity and inclusion.

Our focus will then naturally move on to the topic of career journeys within diversity and inclusion, in recognition of the topic’s leading movers and shakers. Here, industry insights are set to expose new ways of climbing the career fintech ladder, including a more clear understanding of how the underrepresented can be best positioned in that endeavour through the likes of education-to-work initiatives.

This latter indicator will then ultimately form the basis for delivering the final week’s content, which will take a look at the wider array of initiatives pioneering diversity and inclusion across all areas of the fintech industry.
