Vetsource is now able to act as a payment facilitator, offering competitive rates by eliminating hidden fees, often associated with third parties processing payments. The company has gained the appropriate accreditation to deliver the new payment solution. It aims to remove transaction stress and bring value to veterinary practices.
Vetsource’s veterinary industry solution portfolio also includes prescription management, client engagement, and data services. The new payment processing platform aims to enable veterinary practices to offer more flexible payment methods. Offering the ability to pay in ways that better meet their specific needs, could help the veterinary quickly modernise.
Alongside an enhanced payment journey and overall experience for pet owners, the solution also streamlines the collection of payments and end-of-day reconciliation. This ensures fewer errors are made while saving each practice hours of administration every week.
The Vetsource payment solution may also have an effect on the day-to-day running of each practice too. It could help practices avoid crowded reception areas with contactless payment options including text-to-pay. Simplifying payment collection may also allow more time for caring for patients.

Vetsource introduced the new payments processing service at the 2023 Western Veterinary Conference. Attendees of the conference can demo the platform as well as learn more about the service. The solution will be officially available in the US this spring.
