To the Moon Launches UK ‘Fintel’ Service Combining Telecoms and Cryptocurrency in World First Fusion

To The Moon, a future-focused mobile network, has launched its innovative mobile fintech service in the UK. The disruptor brand will introduce a first-to-market fusion of super flexible tariffs and built-in crypto wallet.

Arriving at a time when mobile is more central to everyday lives than ever before, To The Moon gives its customers complete control over what they need in their mobile service. The extensive range of data bundles means customers can choose exactly what they pay based on their specific requirements.

The mobile service will also feature an integrated crypto wallet. This world-first feature will allow customers to seamlessly and securely manage their funds and mobile needs all within one app. To The Moon’s accessibility and simplicity allows customers a safe and secure introduction to the world of crypto.

Within the To The Moon app, customers will have fingertip access to live support, with customer service experts, rather than bots, on hand to assist them with any questions they may have.

To The Moon UK CEO, Andy Hallam, said: “This year has shown how uncertain the future can feel. We want to remove some of that uncertainty by giving our customers more flexibility and power to choose what they pay for in a mobile service, without the pressure of long-term tie-in commitments.

“On top of this is a belief that cryptocurrencies are the future. To support this, we’re enabling our UK mobile customers to manage their mobile service a crypto wallet all within one ecosystem for the very first time. This ‘fintel’ combination, alongside our in-app customer support, is just the start of our journey as a brand that is serious about the future.”

To the Moon uses its relationship with EE, to offer its customers fast connectivity, with bundles to suit every mobile need. Bundles start for as little as £6 for 2GB of data and range up to £25 for 50GB and anywhere in between. Users can select the exact amount of data they need via To The Moon’s unique bundle slider scale. Customers will also enjoy the benefit of unlimited UK calls and SMS, as well as inclusive roaming within the EU, while conditions allow. The company is also giving UK mobile users the chance to try their service for free by signing up for a 7-day 500MB trial.

To the Moon will bring its customers the unique ability to securely manage a crypto wallet from within the same space as their mobile services. Customers will be able to familiarise themselves with the To the Moon interface, different cryptocurrencies and their rates, with full functionality of the crypto wallet to be available by the end of November.
