Ahead of the company showcasing its disruptive product range at Money 20/20 Europe 2023 in Amsterdam this June, The Fintech Times caught up with Nicolas Muhadri, the founder and CEO of StreamMind, to learn more about the company and how its technologies have already been adopted by several major players in the banking and insurance sectors.

Nicolas, please introduce us to StreamMind

At StreamMind, we are a universal deeptech company specialising in software solutions. Our success stems from our dedication to extensive research and development cycles, allowing us to develop disruptive technologies that address major international challenges in the digital landscape. From real-time payments to combating payment fraud, our innovative technologies have the power to transform business practices by combining flexibility, security, and industrial robustness.

One of the key strengths of our technologies lies in their seamless integration with existing systems. Regardless of the sector, our solutions can be easily deployed and integrated within a matter of days to meet the unique needs of any company. This adaptability and quick implementation make our technologies highly versatile and accessible to businesses across industries.

How has the company evolved?

Throughout my career in the technology industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with esteemed companies such as SESA, Cap Gemini, Crédit Lyonnais and Calyon. These experiences have not only shaped my skills but also deepened my passion for driving innovation in software technology.

In 2008, I founded StreamMind with a clear vision in mind. Our mission was to revolutionise the software industry by developing disruptive technologies that address major international challenges, including real-time payments and combatting payment fraud. We embarked on an extensive research and development phase, spanning a decade, to ensure that our solutions deliver flexibility, security, and industrial robustness.

Who is StreamMind working with?

Fresh out of our initial R&D phase, we are proud to have already witnessed the adoption of our technologies by several major players in the banking, insurance, automotive, energy, and other sectors. This early recognition demonstrates the value and impact of our solutions in solving real-world challenges.

Our software services have been successfully deployed in critical areas such as interbank networks, payments, marketplaces, anti-fraud technology, digital identity, cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation, among others. This diverse range of applications reflects the breadth and depth of our expertise and our commitment to addressing multiple facets of the digital ecosystem.

Tell us more about your solutions

Our flagship product, Lucy, is truly a game-changer in the field of digital identity. With global reach, Lucy encompasses a range of software services such as Lucy Diamond and Lucy Phone. Lucy Diamond, for instance, plays a crucial role in the fight against payment fraud. It seamlessly connects to the SEPAmail Diamond interbank service, allowing businesses and individuals to verify bank account holders’ information, minimising the risks associated with fraudulent transactions.

lucy phoneOn the other hand, Lucy Phone is a powerful tool in the battle against fraud and identity theft. By leveraging mobile phone operators’ networks, it enables businesses to access vital information about telephone line owners, operators, and any changes to phone activities.

But our offerings don’t stop there. We also have the Moneyroad suite, which revolutionises payment processing for banks, businesses, and individuals. With software services like Moneyroad Payment, Moneyroad SEPA Request-To-Pay (SRTP), Moneyroad Instant Payment, Moneyroad Marketplace, and Moneyroad E-Invoice, we’re digitising and automating payment tasks, from invoicing to clearing.

We’re noticing a theme with the product names; please explain!

I am a big fan of The Beatles! Just as the Beatles revolutionised the music industry, we aim to revolutionise the software industry with our ground-breaking solutions. Our focus on combating fraud, enhancing security, and empowering businesses remains at the core of everything we do.

What’s next for StreamMind?

Looking ahead, 2023 marks an exciting phase of commercial growth for StreamMind. Our technologies will be implemented worldwide, with a projected hypergrowth trajectory over the next three years. We aim to make a profound impact across B2B, B2B2C, B2C, and C2C markets, ensuring that our disruptive technologies reach and benefit businesses of all sizes and industries.

StreamMind will be in Amsterdam on 6 to 8 June at Money 20/20 Europe 2023 – pop along to stand D160 to meet the team and see LUCY & MoneyRoad in action.
