News & Views | Episode 171: Broken Credit Report System & Apple from Klarna

On this week’s episode of News & Views, The Fintech Times Podcast team speak about the impact the broken credit report system is having on people’s lives and Klarna unveiling ‘Apple from Klarna’.

Down to two members this week, Tom and Francis first spoke about Klarna’s latest partnership with Apple and its new storefront: ‘Apple from Klarna’. The News and Views team discusses how often they have used a third-party storefront to purchase an item before, and both agree that exclusive offerings are much more likely to encourage usage.

Following this, they explore the impact of the broken credit report system and who is most at fault for it. Both Francis and Tom agree that it is quite surprising that these sorts of mistakes are still happening in the modern, digital era.
