N26 Elevates Public Launch in the US With All-New Subscription Loyalty Programme “Perks”

After successfully completing its two-month beta programme, N26 is now fully available to US customers. The N26 app can be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store and Google Play and an account can be opened in only five minutes.

European customers will benefit from N26’ expansion to the US as further developing the N26 product for the local needs in the US will also bring innovation and exciting features back to customers in Europe: With the public launch in the US, N26 introduces Perks, a feature specifically designed to reward customers for subscription services they use every day. N26 Perks is a new programme that gives customers up to 10% off the cost of their most loved monthly subscriptions when paying with their N26 card. Current subscriptions include health and fitness app Aaptiv, micro-learning reading app Blinkist, podcast platform Luminary, and music streaming service Tidal. New partners are being added to the programme regularly, and an updated list can be found in the app. This feature will be available to Standard as well as Premium customers.

The mobile bank is working on an extension of its partnership offering in Europe and will roll out N26 Perks to its European customers at a later stage.

As another innovative feature, N26 allows users in the US to receive their salary up to two days earlier when setting up direct deposit with their N26 accounts. Each account also comes with Spaces, sub-accounts that help N26 users organise and achieve their financial goals. Shared Spaces, which N26 has just introduced in Europe, will also be available in the US at a later stage.

With the public launch in the US market, the mobile bank has taken an important step in its mission to become the first truly global and fully digital retail bank. “Our mission is to give everyone the power to bank and live their way. We’ll continue to do this across Europe and our public launch in the US is the next step in our global expansion,” says N26 co-founder and CEO Valentin Stalf.
