Majid Al Futtaim Partners with Checkout.com to Enhance Digital Payments

Majid Al Futtaim, a prominent conglomerate in shopping malls, communities, retail and leisure across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has announced a partnership with Checkout.com, a global digital payments provider.

This collaboration aims to offer a seamless, secure, and unified one-click checkout experience for the more than 15 million customers who visit Majid Al Futtaim’s online platforms each month.

The new agreement will integrate Majid Al Futtaim’s retail network and customer database with Checkout.com’s payment technology. Customers will benefit from a streamlined payment process across a range of services, including fashion, home, specialty retail, beauty brands and grocery retail stores under the Carrefour franchise in 14 markets.

Additionally, the partnership will enhance payment experiences for the company’s cinema, leisure and entertainment businesses.

According to Checkout.com, its risk and fraud management experrise and security prowess will ensure that customers’ transactions are protected against fraud as well as unauthorised access.

Majid Al Futtaim, founded in 1992, employs 43,000 people with assets valued at $18billion. The company operates 29 shopping malls, seven hotels, and four mixed-use communities, welcoming over 600 million customers annually.
