QA Engineer, Direct Line Group

Direct Line Group is going through an exciting digital transformation journey. They are developing a suite of web and mobile applications that will leverage their core enterprise insurance systems and provide their customers with the best and most modern web experience. These apps will be built using a combination of modern UI technologies, micro-services architecture, and proven integration patterns, and AWS Cloud. To help them in this journey, they welcome talented Automation Test Engineers with digital experience to join the team. Java developers who have SDET (Software Developer In Test) background will also be considered.

You will work in the Digital experience squads, as part of a multi-functional agile delivery team, including analysts, architects, software engineers, and product owners. They’re turning their brands into digital leaders and revolutionising how people use their products and services. Work with them, and you’ll find an in-house role with a start-up feel.  QA Engineers work along with developers from the inception of the development process to make sure solutions are high quality at all times rather than tested at the end of the development process. You will also be a part of a very thriving QA community, which is accountable to introduce, share, and maintain QA best practices, innovate and expand on our automation frameworks and tools across DLG.

Senior Backend Engineer, Plum Fintech

Plum is powered by automation, and acts like an autopilot for your money. You sit at the controls, with smart spending analytics and budgeting tools to help you set your financial destination. Plum gets you there safely, so you don’t need to remember things like setting money aside, getting the best deal on household bills.

They are now looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join them in their London office.

Engineers at Plum come from a variety of backgrounds (physics, computer science, music, even history!) and they welcome all levels of experience. They value good engineering principles and healthy curiosity. They take a conservative approach to using external frameworks and aspire to write simple, well-tested code, delivered in rapid iterations. You’ll get to work on bank data ingestion, payments, investments, data pipelines, user-facing features which assist people in their financial operations. On top, you’ll play an integral role in taking Plum’s infrastructure to an exciting next level – a suite of fault-tolerant, self-contained backend services. It’s a really good chance to get your hands dirty with a product that is already used by 1m people in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, PHP, C#, Java or Kotlin, with knowledge and experience of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL).

API Product Lead, Tutuka

As Tutuka continues to expand as a global payment processing, they are looking for their next Product Lead to own our roadmap and API strategy. You’ll be leading an amazing global team with different backgrounds, from product management to development and business analysis.

Do you know payments inside out? Are you passionate about working with people and enabling them to reach their full potential?

As product leader you will be setting up Go-to-market strategy and managing the delivery times. This includes making sure the new features will be out in the agreed timelines, communicating timelines and updates with the customer base and technical teams, as well as managing expectations and finding suitable solutions when roadblocks occur. You will be responsible for developing the vision, strategy and roadmap will be first priority. You’ll be looking at what the growth opportunities are, prioritising product requests and developing our APIs. They’ll also look at you to lead the product meetings and communicate the product roadmaps.
