Jim Marous to be Keynote Speaker at the Open Banking Expo

Open Banking Expo is unveiling global digital banking strategist Jim Marous as the keynote speaker at its London Expo on 13th November 2019.

Jim Marous is an internationally recognised financial industry strategist, co-publisher of The Financial Brand and owner and publisher of the Digital Banking Report. He advises clients on innovation, portfolio growth, customer experience, payments and digital transformation within the financial services industry. Notably, he has previously advised the White House on banking policy.

Marous is consistently rated as one of the most influential people in global banking and has been ranked as one of the top five fintech influencers to follow. He is the host of the Banking Transformed Podcast, as well as a contributor for Forbes and the Breaking Banks radio show.

In addition to Jim Marous, Open Banking Expo will feature more than 70 speakers from leading banks, payment providers, fintechs and regulators across five stages. Hosted at etc.venues near St Paul’s Cathedral, it will bring together innovators, disruptors and visionaries who are shaping the future of Open Banking. More than 400 senior executives are expected to attend.

As part of this year’s event, Open Banking Expo are partnering with both Nationwide Building Society’s Open Banking for Good challenge and The Money Charity. Through this partnership Open Banking Expo will reveal the progress of Nationwide’s fintech partners who are creating apps to utilise banking data to assist the most vulnerable in society. Open Banking Expo will also donate a percentage of ticket sales to The Money Charity.
