Finnovex Europe Saw a Virtual Gathering of European Banking Leaders To Reignite the Industry

Finnovex Europe had Backbase, SmartMessage, ABAKA and Creatio join its foremost edition to Formulate Evolutionary Strategies for Reigniting the Banking and FSI Industry of the European Region. The Leading Summit on Financial Services Innovation and Excellence, which kicked off from the 24th – 25th May 2021 on the host’s virtual platform witnessed the attendance of CEOs, CDO’s, COO’s, CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, CRO’s Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Heads of departments from the Banking and FI industry.

The Finnovex Global series, which is organised by Exibex, examines the prospects of the overall Financial Services industry and how disruptive innovations are reshaping the way they are structured, provisioned and consumed. This year’s edition was themed “Evolution Strategies for Reigniting the Industry” to reiterate the requirement for Banks to build up their digital identity by leveraging technologies to stay relevant in the current digitalisation era.

The Head of CEE at Backbase, Pierre-Alexandre Boulay highlighted the “One-Platform Vision” roadmap for banks and financial institution. These include – Delighting Customers, Empowering Employees, Ochesterating Value and Digitising Operations.

He also laid emphasis on how the type of messages banks communicate today would influence how they retain their customers.
