Corporate Christmas Gifts You Can Still Send – Just!

With only a few days left between now and Christmas, you might think the opportunity has long gone for delivering your corporate Christmas gifts this year. But think again, here at The Fintech Times we have pulled together a range of options and if it is really too late – then feel free to bookmark this page, as there’s always next year.

Gifts for the office

Left it too late for chocolates? Not sure which gift cards to choose? Why not make a charitable donation in the name of your team or section, what’s more, via online polls employees can even vote for the money to be split between the charities they support – or commit to supporting just one at a time for a bigger share of the pot.

The way individuals and companies can donate to charity has undergone a massive overhaul in recent months with the pandemic in mind. Vicky Reeves, Managing Director Digital at WPNC, which owns goDonate said, “goDonate is one of the leading donation platforms in the charity sector working with medium to large charitable organisations. Setting up and managing direct debit payments can often require too much manual intervention, and we wanted to offer a robust solution for both one-off and regular donations that would meet the expectations of our charity partners.”

Gifts for your favourite remote worker

Carol Smith, HR Director at Buyagift and Red Letter Days said “This year gifting individuals in the office will be very different to previous years as a lot of people are still working from home. That said, I am sure a lot of thought will go into personalising the gift, my preference wouldn’t be for a cash voucher as often these get swallowed up with paying for day to day items making it a less special gift.”

Both Buyagift and Red Letter Days allow recipients to redeem vouchers on everything from a ride in a race car to a luxurious afternoon tea that can be taken throughout 2021 and beyond. Still stuck for ideas?

A great way to personalise a gift for the team this year is gifting a hamper sent directly to their houses with items that the person will use and appreciate during the Christmas festivities. With most of 2020 being spent indoors, giving someone an experience to make new memories with their loved ones and something to look forward to in 2021 could be a great option.

Buyagift and Red Letter days have recently launched gifts and hampers which we think make a fabulous Christmas gift to be sent straight to your employee’s homes, – better late than never?

Gifts for the boss

How about a Beer & Bacon Kit from Ross & Ross Gifts which is, to put it simply, the perfect gift for anyone who loves beer and bacon! The kit contains a new eco-friendly Homemade Bacon Curing Tube…Smoky and four different craft beers from The Cotswolds Brewing Company.

This is a great gift to give this Christmas because it’s unique and the curing tube gives the recipient something interesting and fun to do, whilst being stuck at home. Your boss will love it. Plus, there are also vegan alternatives available.

Gifts for a thrill seeker

Want to go bigger than a scratchcard or lucky dip? Why not help a crypto newbie pick out their own tokens via AI. OSOM’s Autopilot is a new crypto quant trader that has been developed by investment banking veterans – simply deposit €25 and the AI trader will automatically select the best crypto tokens for your loved ones’ portfolio, maximising their exposure to crypto. To date, Autopilot has been netting over 50% returns.

It automatically diversifies the deposit across more than 30 vetted altcoins—including several promising DeFi tokens.

Gifts for the person that treats themselves

And if none of the above will really catch the eye of the person you’re thinking about, why not let them treat themselves by sending over a digital gift card from Appreciate, home of Love2shop, which can be used online or in-store through a mobile wallet with over 80 retailers and leisure providers.

Plus, you can send the gift cards instantly by email, text, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp to an unlimited number of recipients. The cards can be sent on schedule for delivery for an upcoming special date – a customer’s anniversary, staff or client’s birthday and, of course, as a thank you for a recent transaction.

Ian O’Doherty, CEO, Appreciate Group explained: “Reinforcing the potential opportunities for growth, we saw demand for new business in rewards and incentives double between April and September 2020, driven by companies looking to thank customers and employees for their hard work during lockdown. Going forward in 2021, we believe there are significant opportunities to satisfy increasing customer demand for digital rewards and personalised incentives.”
