Zoya Malik is Managing Editor of The Fintech Times. With over 30 years of print and digital publishing experience across the UK, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Zoya has been the Founder and Managing Editor of Sibson Media Limited, a content management company focussed on providing editorial services to the banking, finance and FinTech industries by serving corporates, tech start-ups, GREs, SMEs, publishers and creative agencies. She regularly works with blue-chip clients such as The Economist, FT, Bloomberg L.P and Bloomberg Businessweek Middle East.

From 2012 to 2016, Zoya served as the editor of Banker Middle East, CPI Financial’s flagship magazine targeted at the C-suite banking and finance community in the MENA region. During this time, Zoya supported the Banker Middle East Industry Awards and launched several supplements including Leaders in Financial Technology (LIFT), Product Awards UAE, Product Awards Levant, Cards & Payments ME and a contract publication for Union Bancaire Privée. As a CPI Financial blogger, her posts have addressed issues relating to personal finance, real estate and regional culture.

Zoya has an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, United Kingdom. She began her publishing career in London in 1987 and her professional experience ranges from magazine publishing, children’s book production, editing online portals and community pages, through to the launching and editing of luxury lifestyle and print and digital B2B and B2C magazines, both in London and Dubai. Zoya has pioneered industry leading magazines for the SME and Renewable Energy industries in MENA. As a freelance editor, Zoya has launched magazines for Citibank, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and UAE National Bonds.
