2022 Headlinemoney Awards Success for The Fintech Times

We’re delighted to share the news that Polly Jean Harrison, features editor at The Fintech Times, is the inaugural winner of the ‘Fintech Journalist of the Year’ accolade at the Headlinemoney Awards 2022.

The Headlinemoney Awards celebrate the best in journalism, editorial excellence, and top-flight communications from the world of financial services media. There are categories both for individual journalists (consumer and B2B) and media outlets covering different aspects of the financial marketplace.

For the first time this year, the Awards introduced the category of ‘Fintech Journalist of the Year’ with our very own Polly scooping the top honour.

One judge said: “All three examples brought the topic to life in a relatable and educational way” while another commented: “I applaud Polly’s penchant for going off the beaten track and sourcing and following up on non-mainstream stories – they are equally as important.”

“I am utterly gobsmacked to be named the Headlinemoney’s first-ever ‘Fintech Journalist of the Year’,” says Polly. “When I first started in this industry I had no clue what fintech even was so it’s super humbling to see how far I’ve come in this industry with the help and support from the fantastic team at The Fintech Times.

“I only hope I can live up to the title and continue to highlight this fantastic industry and its wonderful members. On to the next story!”Polly Jean Harrison
